Vanilla vs Hazelnut Colombian Coffee: Which ANASU Flavor Should You Choose?

Choose ANASU Vanilla when you want vanilla-flavored coffee, or ANASU Hazelnut when you want the named hazelnut flavor. Both are listed as medium-roast Colombian coffee in 0.55 lb bags available ground. The main choice between them is the flavor you want, not a different roast level.

If you already enjoy one of those flavors in coffee, start there. If you are undecided, a side-by-side comparison at home is more useful than assuming one is sweeter, stronger or better for everyone.

Compare the two products

  • ANASU Vanilla Flavored Medium Roast: the product description identifies a delicate vanilla flavor. Choose it when vanilla is the character you want in your cup.
  • ANASU Hazelnut Flavored Medium Roast: the product description identifies a delicate hazelnut flavor. Choose it when that is your preferred named flavor.
  • Shared format: both current listings describe a medium roast, a 0.55 lb bag and ground availability. Check the individual page for current price and availability.

We have not assigned intensity scores or claimed that one tastes stronger than the other. Your brewing method, dose and additions will shape the result.

Flavored coffee is not the same as a tasting note

A product explicitly labeled vanilla flavored or hazelnut flavored is a different shopping choice from a regional coffee described with a chocolate or nutty tasting note. A tasting description is not an ingredient list.

For example, ANASU Manizales Medium Dark Roast has a chocolate note in its product description, but that does not make it a chocolate-flavored product. Read the title and current package information rather than treating every flavor word as an added ingredient.

Try both without hiding the difference

  1. Use clean brewing equipment and the same water for both coffees.
  2. Measure equal amounts of grounds and brewing water.
  3. Taste each before adding milk, sugar or syrup.
  4. If you normally use milk, add the same measured amount to each serving.
  5. Choose the cup you would most like to drink again.

You can also try either coffee iced. Begin with the same measured iced-coffee recipe for both so extra ice is not what decides the comparison.

Do I need to add syrup?

That is a taste choice. Brew and taste the coffee first, then decide whether you want anything else. The word flavored does not, by itself, tell you a product’s sugar content or complete ingredients.

What about ingredients and allergens?

Confirm the current package’s ingredient and allergen information before buying when those details matter to you. Do not assume that a hazelnut flavor name proves the presence or absence of nuts, or that vanilla flavor proves a particular formulation. Contact the store for product-specific confirmation rather than relying on a general coffee article.

Choose a flavored or unflavored bag

Explore ANASU Vanilla Flavored Medium Roast or ANASU Hazelnut Flavored Medium Roast for the two flavored options. If you would rather compare unflavored regional roasts, start with the ANASU roast guide. Questions before ordering? Phone Orders: (786) 786-4495.
