Colombian Ground Coffee for the Office: Plan Your Team’s Order

Start an office coffee order with the number of servings your team actually drinks, the dose per brew and the bag size. Confirm the brewer before choosing the bags

That uses about 15.6 grams of coffee per serving. It is an arithmetic planning example; replace the dose and serving count with your team’s actual recipe.

Double the serving count if everyone has two cups. If your brewer’s cup markings are smaller than your mugs, measure its actual water volume. The coffee-to-water ratio chart helps you calculate a batch without confusing the carafe’s markings with finished mug servings.

Include shipping in the order budget

Shipping changes at seven and fourteen bags, so a larger order does not automatically lower the cost per bag. Compare the actual total with what your team can use rather than adding coffee only to reach a quantity threshold.

Make reordering easy to manage

Write the product name, opening date and weekly consumption in one shared place. Assign one person to check the remaining bags and reorder with enough time for the delivery information shown for the order. Keep unopened bags separate from opened coffee so you can see what is left.

The National Coffee Association’s storage advice supports buying manageable amounts and protecting coffee from air, heat and moisture. A clean, cool storage location away from the office brewer’s steam is a useful starting point.
